Jill joined A&M Bacon in October 2023 and specialises in Court of Protection costs recovery.

She previously worked within a national Court of Protection deputyship team for over 14 years, after transferring from an admin role in the property department. In this role she provided in-house costs recovery, drafted bills for assessment by the SCCO, prepared letters of appeal, and provided training to her colleagues.

This is where she gained an understanding of the key role of a deputy in high value, complex matters, including heavily litigated and contentious applications. She has experience in preparing Court of Protection bills including general management, deputyship applications, gift applications, statutory will applications, applications for retrospective authority, and other contentious applications.

In her spare time, Jill is treasurer for a musical theatre society, is part of the team responsible for staging productions and holding fundraisers, and loves painting models for tabletop gaming.
